Wayne Berman founded Berman Enterprises, a strategic risk consultancy in 1991. Berman
specializes in developing risk mitigation strategies for large multinational corporate clients. These
plans are designed to measure, mitigate and migrate the political, legislative, and regulatory risks that
are staples of today's corporate environment. Berman is currently Vice Chairman of Jardine Lloyd
Thompson/USA, the world's leading specialty insurance broker. As Vice Chairman, Berman is responsible
for managing JLT's relationships with its North American corporate clients.
President George H.W. Bush appointed Berman Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Policy in 1989. Berman
served as principal advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and was instrumental in determining the direction
of major policy decisions and programs. In this capacity, he also served as official U.S. Government
Liaison to all foreign business groups. Berman has been active in national politics and has held senior
positions in five Presidential campaigns, two Presidential transitions, and two Presidential nominating
conventions.
Berman serves on the Board of Trustees at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and is a member of
the Board of the Library of Congress, appointed by the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Robert Boni served as a board member of Alexander & Alexander, an international
insurance brokerage. Boni was asked by the board to assume the role of interim Chairman and CEO.
Results of his assignment were the recruitment of Frank Zarb and the infusion of $200 million capital
by AIG.
Boni is the retired Chairman and CEO of Armco Inc., a diversified steel, oil field equipment and
financial services Fortune 500 company. He also has been a board member of Cincinnati Gas & Electric.
He is currently a director of Maritrans Inc.
Boni was Chairman of the Cincinnati Branch of the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank. His formal education
is an undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati, an MS and Ph.D. in metallurgy from Carnegie
Mellon University. He has completed Harvard University's Research Management Program and Cornell
University's Executive Management Program.
Keith McVicker founded Personal Lines Insurance Brokerage, Inc. (PLI) in 1984. Ten years later PLI
became a subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation. McVicker received his BS in Industrial Management and his
MS in Finance from the University of Illinois. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU),
as well as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). His article, "Property and Liability Insurance Issues Are
Often Ignored," was published in the April 1998 issue of Trusts & Estates. In 1999 McVicker started Lane McVicker, LLC.
Michael Carmody, prior to joining Lane McVicker, was a Vice President of PLI Brokerage, a subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation. Carmody has developed risk management expertise in the family office and high net worth arena working with advisors to reduce exposure to risk. In the 1980's, while at Allstate he served as Territory Manager for the state of Illinois. Carmody received his BS in Marketing and Business Administration from Southland University.
Gilbert Lai, prior to joining Lane McVicker, was a Vice President and Northeast Regional Director of Aon Private Risk Management. Lai's focus has been on program design of risk management solutions for affluent families in the U.S. He began his career in 1990 as an underwriter in Chubb's Personal Insurance Division. In 1994, he transferred to Personal Lines Insurance Brokerage, Inc. (PLI), eventually becoming a Vice President of Sales. Lai received his BA in Political Science and History from Franklin & Marshall College.
Brett Woodward, prior to joining Lane McVicker, was a Vice President of PLI Brokerage, a subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation. Woodward has been a featured speaker at
the FPA (Financial Planning Association) of Illinois financial forum, Midwest NAPFA conference, and the FPA of Colorado conference. His programs focus on the need for financial
advisors to incorporate risk management as part of an overall financial plan. He began his insurance career in 1990 with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, completing his
tour as a Regional Appraisal Manager. Woodward received his BS degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton.
Amy Ciasulli (Member) began her career in 1989 with Continental Insurance Company's Executive Training Program. After twelve years of managing National and Regional
accounts she joined AIG's Private Client Group as a Business Development Manager for their in-house property-casualty business. Ciasulli received her BA from Montclair State
College with a concentration in Economics and Russian Area Studies.
Diane Giles (Vice President) worked as an insurance broker prior to joining Chubb in 1987. Giles held personal insurance management positions in Washington DC and Philadelphia. In the mid 1990's she was a "loaned executive" to Chase Manhattan Bank for the purpose of assisting Chase in building its personal lines insurance agency. Since 2000 she has served as AIG's Private Client Group Business Development Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Giles is completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware.
Mitch Freedman (Assistant Vice President) began his insurance career with Aon Corporation in 1999 in their commercial healthcare practice, providing risk management solutions to large integrated delivery systems and managed care organizations. Starting in 2002, he launched, developed and managed the personal insurance brokerage operation for Aon Private Risk Management in Washington, DC. Freedman received both a Bachelor degree in Political Science and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Rita Kline (Account Executive) began her insurance career with Chubb's luxury home appraisal arm. She then joined JP Morgan/Chase in their Private Client Insurance Group, designing insurance solutions for customers. Kline's last assignment has been Manager of Client Relationships for AIG's Private Client Group. Kline received her BS in Marketing and Business Administration from Temple University.
Marin Weinberg (Vice President) began her insurance career in 2001 as an Underwriter with Chubb's Personal Lines Division. In this position Weinberg developed an in-depth knowledge of Chubb's Personal Lines product offering. Her responsibilities included managing a network of brokers throughout the New York metropolitan area. Weinberg received her BS in Finance and Marketing from New York University.
Sal Lundy (Assistant Vice President) began his insurance career in 1991 with Sentry Insurance, a New Jersey based direct writer of insurance for individuals and businesses. Sal later moved to the distribution side of our industry joining a New York insurance agency where he was promoted to manage the agency's personal insurance division. In this assignment Sal was responsible for managing a team for new business development, customer service and carrier relationships. Sal holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. He currently plans to complete his undergraduate degree on a part time basis.
Paul Gallagher (Vice President) began his insurance career in 1989 as an underwriter in Chubb's Personal Lines Division. He quickly evolved as a player in Chubb's
personal insurance sales, sales management and marketing efforts. Gallagher later moved to the brokerage side of the industry, working for Marsh and Aon in client facing roles.
With an underwriter's understanding of insurance policy contracts, he brings a unique and valuable perspective in counseling high net-worth persons. Gallagher received his BS in
Environmental and Business Economics from Cook College at Rutgers University.

Kelley Danis (Assistant Vice President) began her insurance career with Aon Risk Services in July 2000 as part of the internal communications group for the Midwest Region. She joined Aon Private Risk Management in December 2000 and soon thereafter was promoted to the relationship management role. In this position Danis was responsible for developing innovative risk management solutions for existing clients as well as servicing new business. Prior to joining Aon, Danis attended Vanderbilt University and earned a BS in Human & Organizational Development.
Penne Crews (Assistant Vice President) began her insurance career in 1980 with State Farm Insurance. In 1989 she joined Alexander and Alexander, a national insurance brokerage, to manage VIP accounts for the southern region. In 1994 Alexander & Alexander was purchased by PLI Brokerage. Penne remained with PLI as a Senior Account Manager for 11 years. Through the years, Penne has developed a strong expertise in complex matters such as family offices, personal insurance coverage for professional athletes, sports memorabilia collections and equine exposures.
Bill Van Ingen (Vice President) began his insurance career with Aon Private Risk Management in 2004. He was quickly promoted to a relationship management role and then subsequently to an advisory role where he was responsible for the design, implementation, and management of personal insurance portfolios for affluent individuals, families, and family offices in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to insurance, Bill's business experience was in marketing and brand management. Bill holds a BA in History from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
DeAnna Hayden-Kaplan (Account Executive) began her insurance career with Marsh & McLennan's Personal Client Services working with high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Lane McVicker, DeAnna was with PLI Brokerage, then a subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation. DeAnna received her BA degree in Communications from The American University in Washington DC.
Linda Butz (Associate Manager) began her insurance career at National Liberty Corporation (now Aegon) in government relations. Most recently she worked in non-profit administration. Butz holds a BS degree in management, summa cum laude, and an MBA from Rosemont College.
Michael Melcher (Account Executive) began his insurance career with State Farm as an Auto Claims Representative in June 2004. In July 2005, he moved to the agency side of the company as a Life/Health Sales Specialist. His responsibilities included generating new life and health clients for the agency, and also servicing existing financial services and personal lines insurance customers. Melcher received his BBA in Business Management from James Madison University.
Matt Eichmann (Account Executive) received a BS in History from the United States Naval Academy, and is a former Marine Corps artillery officer. He has traveled extensively around the world, and has commanded various sized units both home and abroad. He is a recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation with 3 Stars, as well as the Presidential Unit Citation. Eichmann holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) insurance designation providing specialized expertise in current loss mitigation practices.
Anthony Rosania (Associate Manager) began his insurance career in 2004 at Chubb. Initially he was an account manager in the New Jersey based Chubb Customer Center where he was responsible for servicing the insurance needs of affluent clients. In 2006, he transferred to Chicago and assumed the role of an Underwriter with Chubb's Personal Lines Division. Anthony received his BS in Business Administration from Bryant University. He brings a unique blend of insurance retail and underwriting experience to our company.
Craig Low (Associate Manager) spent two years as a volunteer missionary in Southern California before graduating from Brigham Young University with a BS in Psychology and Business Management. Low began his professional career as a mortgage broker with HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation prior to joining Lane McVicker.
Heather Vinson (Account Executive) began her career in personal lines insurance in 1998 at an independent agency in Maryland. Prior to joining Lane McVicker, she grew within the field, working for Marsh & McLennan's Private Client Services in New York, where she was responsible for managing insurance portfolios for affluent individuals and families. Heather received her BFA in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology.
